Apart from the swimming pool at Chez Lombard we have a variety of games and sports equipment free for use such as:

• Table tennis
• Croquet and Cricket
• Board games
• Darts
• Ten bikes of various sizes

If you feel like venturing further in to the local area there are many walks and bike rides. We can provide directions for these, or maps if necessary.

Bikes are also available for hire at the tourist office in our local town Villebois-Lavalette

To help you decide where to visit, we can suggest routes for you to choose which cover places of interest and some picnic areas along the way.

Within half an hour's drive from Chez Lombard, and you can find many more activities:

• There are River beaches at the pretty villages of Aubeterre, St Aulaye, La Jemaye

• Canoeing on the river at Aubettere, Bourdeilles, Brantome, St Yrieix

• Tennis courts at Villebois- Lavalette, Montmoreau (10 mins drive). Residents at Chez Lombard have free access to these courts

• There is a children’s play area Ronsenac (10 mins drive)

• For golfers, there are courses at Angouleme -18 hole, Aubeterre – 9 hole and Cognac 18 hole.

• Go Karting can be done at Champniers and Angouleme

• The Nautilus Sports Centre, St. Yrieix, Angouleme. Offers a large variety of aqua sports.
