By Car

Chez Lombard is situated 30 km south of Angouleme in the Charente. It is a comfortable eight hours drive from the channel ports of Calais or Boulogne.

By Plane

Ryanair now fly from Stansted to Angouleme airport (30mins drive). Easyjet are planning to fly there from Gatwick this summer.Poitiers, Limoges, Bergerac, Bordeaux and La Rochelle airports are all within two hours drive and offer cheap flights from the UK.

By Rail

You can take the Eurostar from London Waterloo to Lille, then change onto a TGV train in the direction of Bordeaux, stopping at Angouleme. The total journey time is around 8 hours.

Hire Car

There are car hire companies available at the airports of Poitiers, Limoges, Bergerac, Bordeaux and La Rochelle and at the TGV station in Angouleme.
